He served in the United States Air Force during Operation Desert Storm 1990-1991. 

Studies included the following; Art Instruction School for an associate in commercial art. Medieval History, American History, Scottish History, Philosophy, Theology, Mechanics, Electrical Wiring, and Timber Frame Construction and has made a long study of the techniques of the old wood wrights.

In the summer of 2000 he moved on to 22 acres of land and built a one room log cabin by hand tools and a chain saw. He lived on the site in a tent for the first 4 months of construction.  After it was completed, he lived in the cabin for 5 years studying theology and the nature of things around him.

Today he lives a modest and humble life  building custom cabinets & furniture.  He also raises organic bronze turkeys and chickens and grows organic vegetables and devotes most of his free time to the study of History, Genealogy and writing.  He is also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution.
